Position Overview
One of they key services we offer our customers is training for how to use our products and recommended best practices, enabling them to meet their business objectives. Our training program includes traditional learning (onsite, instructor-led) and E-Learning (live, instructor-led and on-demand). Our E-Learning program is a robust program that continues to expand. With its success comes an increased demand for E-Learning modules and other media production projects for internal and external audiences. Planview is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, E-Learning Instructional Designer and Developer to join our dynamic team as we move the program into a new and exciting phase.
Job Responsibilities
The E-Learning Instructional Designer and Developer (IDD) will be responsible for designing and developing E-Learning content that effectively applies appropriate instructional design techniques while combining the client requirements and the authoring tool capabilities. The E-Learning IDD will work under minimal supervision to create interactive, synchronous and asynchronous courseware, multimedia tutorials and/or marketing pieces for internal and external audiences. He/She will work on a cross functional team of subject matter experts, E-Learning developers, and QA analysts to design and develop these modules. The E-Learning IDD is expected to be a leader and mentor to other developers, proactively suggesting alternative approaches, bringing innovative ideas to bear, and keeping up with the latest technology and techniques for designing and developing E-Learning modules.
The person in this role will:
- Provide input as to the overall training strategy using formal instructional methodology
- Act as instructional designer and writer of curriculum (to include standard deliverables: Performance Objectives, Design Documents, Storyboards, Assessments, Decision Paths, Participant Materials, Facilitator Materials, PowerPoint presentations, Job Aids, supplemental handouts)
- Actively engage with identified Subject Matter Experts to ensure accuracy of content and relevance to targeted audience, while ensuring it is technically and instructionally sound and consistent with the team’s instructional design philosophies. This includes:
- Assessing and interpreting customer needs to determine appropriate design direction
- Evaluating target audience needs and establishing related courseware objectives and instructional goals
- Determining the appropriate training media for the audience and material
- Develop instructional materials appropriate to meet learning objectives
- Record audio and video components
- Edit and synchronize audio and video components, and add production elements (captions, callouts, highlighting, navigation, transitions, etc.)
- Publish files into various file formats and prepare the module for distribution
- Assist in the management of the studio
- Contribute to the development of procedures and processes related to media production work
Skills & Experience
It is preferred that applicants for this position have:
- A bachelors degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication or a related field
- 3-5 years of demonstrated success in designing & developing E-Learning modules including live instructor-led online training and on-demand modules (WBT, CBT) and blended learning

- Possess a strong work ethic, integrity, professionalism,
- Have knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design theories, and SCORM guidelines
- Knowledge of LMS/LCMS systems is preferred
The E-Learning IDD will possess the following technical skills:
- The E-Learning IDD is expected to be a technical leader for the program, keeping up with the latest technology and techniques for designing and developing media projects and proactively suggesting alternative software solutions and best practices for use of existing software, when appropriate.
- Technical knowledge of audio and video best practices and standards is required
- Development experience in web environments with JavaScript, CSS, HTML is helpful

Position Overview
At Planview, a Senior Software Developer reports to a Software Development
Manager and is responsible for design and development of complex, Web-based
software products. The development environment is ASP/.NET and C#/.NET.
Education/Experience
The Senior Software Developmer must be able to hit the ground running and
contribute very quickly in a fast-paced environment.
Required experience includes:
- Techincal and group leadership
- Object-oriented design and development
- Design and development of very complex, distributed software architectures and systems
- Agile and/or XP methodology - especially short-cycle, refactoring, TDD
- Mentorship of others
- All three tiers of a standard three-tier software structure

QA Analyst

Job Responsibilities
As a member of the QA team the Quality Assurance Analyst will be required to:
- Develop, execute, and manage test plans and regression test strategy.
- Conduct functionality testing and test new software releases and service packs.
- Define and implement regression test strategy.
- Assist in problem analysis and software maintenance issues.
- Analyze and implement test processes
- Work with Software Engineering and other groups to improve overall product quality.
Qualifications
- Experience in creating and implementing test plans, specifications and documentation
- Proven success in performing effective QA testing within project timeline and resource constraints
- Proven ability to collaborate with others, initiate action, and take on challenging initiatives.
- Must have experience with SQL and RDBMS
- Knowledge in project management required
- Experience with financial planning preferred
- Experience with Planview's application is a plus
- Knowledge in implementing test automation is a plus
- Experience and certain level of technical skill in Windows operating system and network environment are a plus
- HTML and ASP programming skills are a plus
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is required.
