Planview™ Announces the ABT™/Niku™ Migrator

New software and service package migrates Niku™ data and management practices to Planview Web software version 7.1+

AUSTIN, TX — October 15, 2001 — Planview, the world leader in integrated project, service and resource management software and services, today announced a new service package aimed at users of ABT™/Niku™ who want a choice in state-of-the-art PSA and Enterprise Project Management solutions. The ABT™/Niku™ Migrator is a functional review and technical migration of Niku™ project, resource, and time-reported data to a Planview central repository. Data is typically converted in a few days, and, once accomplished, the user community is able to enjoy the many strengths of a Planview solution. Developed in response to market queries, the ABT™/Niku™ Migrator draws upon Planview's proven track record in successful implementations, and upon the 40+ years of ABT™ Project WorkBench™ and Repository experience in Planview's professional services group. The service package is priced at US$20,000, with a limited time price discount for commitments signed by December 28, 2001.

One new Planview customer who plans to move from Niku™ is the Union Bank of California (UBOC™), the second largest commercial bank headquartered in California and a wholly-owned subsidiary of UnionBanCal Corporation, a publicly traded San Francisco-based bank-holding company (NYSE:UB). UBOC had relied on their ABT™ Project WorkBench™ and related products for years. UBOC decided to consider alternative products available and selected Planview Web Software. Jamie Frost, the Director of the Technology Project Office for UBOC, stated, "Our extensive pilot on Planview confirmed for us they could implement and could form the basis for our strategic initiatives on IT workforce management. Planview is an excellent, modern replacement to our ABT™ software. The one-hundred-percent web interface is easy to deploy, and the performance and stability of the central repository and multiple servers make organizational-wide management much easier."
