Planview Welcomes Dick Tusia as New VP of Customer Service

AUSTIN, TX — January 17, 2002 — Planview, the world leader in integrated project, service and resource management software and services for IT, today announced Richard (Dick) Tusia has joined the company in the newly created position of Vice President of Customer Services. Tusia will office out of Planview's Austin, Texas headquarters, and will have responsibility for both Planview's Professional Services Group and Planview's Customer Support Teams, both domestic and international.

"The mission of Planview's Customer Services is to enhance the success of our customers through the use of our products," said Tusia. At Planview, Tusia plans to increase the focus on end-user testing, decrease resolution time for reported support incidents, enhance communications between Planview and its customers on post-sales issues, and create a tier management account program. "Dick's experience with leading software companies will be instrumental in bringing process and technology improvements throughout our customer lifecycle," said Chief Operations Officer Gregory Gilmore. "Dick brings to the table highly mature skills we can leverage to improve Planview's customer value stream and enhance customer satisfaction."

Prior to joining Planview, Tusia was the VP of Worldwide Customer Engineering/ Technical Services at Pervasive Software in Austin, Texas. He has over 20 years experience in the software services, support and operations arena, including 12 years of international experience and 10 years in high-tech management. Other support and management positions he held were with Trilogy Software, Tivoli Systems, Cadence Design Systems, and Digital Equipment Corp. (DEC).
