Planview 5th Annual User Group Conference a Tremendous Success

Increased attendance and customer participation provides further insight into customers' project and resource management needs

AUSTIN, TX — October 7, 2002 — Planview, Inc., the world leader in integrated resource, project and service management solutions, held its annual User Group Conference earlier this month, with 40 percent increased attendance and greater customer participation in the program and breakout sessions over last year. From the 115 customers who attended the three-day meeting, Planview received overwhelming feedback that the Conference was valuable to enhancing knowledge about project and resource management.

The Conference included Planview customer presentations, including Kraft Foods, New York State Department of Tax and Finance, Partners Healthcare, Exel, and Salt River Project (SRP), as well as presentations from Planview executives. An interactive Software Lab provided participants with hands-on demonstrations of the latest software version — Planview Web Software Version 7.2.

One of the breakout sessions, attended by 68 participants from 35 companies, focused on investment portfolio analysis -a new technique to align projects with business goals and perform feasibility analysis early in the cycle — 14 of the participating companies agreed to collaborate with Planview in further understanding the investment analysis of projects.
