Planview Introduces Prisms™ Real-Time Business Processes

AUSTIN, Texas — February 19, 2003 — Planview, the world leader in integrated portfolio, resource and project management software, announces the addition of Prisms™ Real-Time Business Processes to its highly successful product line. Prisms is a set of organizational governance processes that define project lifecycles, lifecycle roles, stage/gates to authorize projects, content documents, collaboration standards, and mentoring templates for budgeting, work breakdown structures and assigning project resources. Prisms is delivered via Planview software and enabled by Planview web portals and acts as a quick start to building and maturing organizational governance processes. It speeds the implementation of repeatable, disciplined project lifecycles, providing a smart way to build organizational process maturity.

Prisms version 7.2 is currently available for general distribution. Additional, domain-specific project models are planned for Prisms, as well as integration of premium third-party content and processes as optional products.
