New on-line user community & knowledge base

AUSTIN, Texas — August 19, 2003 — Planview, Inc., the world leader in integrated portfolio, resource and project management software and processes, announced the successful launch of their new on-line user community, PlanviewDirect. The new site, www.planviewdirect.com, went live to all current Planview customers mid-August 2003. PlanviewDirect members have easy and secure access to e-Learning classes, mentoring, and secure file exchanges, plus information and tips about how to use Planview more efficiently to gain the benefits of enterprise portfolio management. Planview users can also join the community of their peers at other leading organizations who also use Planview Web Software, to participate in discussions, download whitepapers, and share in the planned knowledge base. PlanviewDirect is the culmination of a multi-year project of Planview's Customer Support to offer cutting-edge customer service and flexibility to improve management and business processes at user sites.

Free Premium Services Through 2003

To kick-off the new site and demonstrate its usefulness, Planview will offer access to the premium services of PlanviewDirect free of charge to all active Planview customers for the next four months. After December 31, 2003, such premium services as live mentoring via PlaceWare, e-Training classes, Tips and Hints, an Administrative Issues section, etc. will be available only to those customers who have purchased Planview premium services. Other customers will still have access to the standard services of PlanviewDirect.
