Planview Announces 2005 International User Group Conference

Record Attendance Expected by Customers Eager to Learn and Share IT Best Practices

AUSTIN, Texas — August 16, 2005 — Planview, the leading provider of comprehensive IT portfolio management solutions, today announced the company's eighth annual International User Group Conference to be held September 19-21 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Austin, Texas.

The International User Group Conference gives Planview customers the opportunity to network, discuss IT portfolio management best practices and share success stories. This year's conference will feature tips, presentations and breakout sessions designed to help attendees navigate their way to maximum IT performance.

The three-day conference will consist of a variety of presentations from both industry experts and Planview users. Margo Visitation, Principle Analyst from Forrester Research, will deliver a presentation on the benefits of integrated IT management and the visibility it provides into IT spending.

Also, for the first time, attendees will have the option to choose among three separate tracks: 'IT/Business Alignment', 'Product Development' and 'Power User'. The new IT/Business Alignment track will focus on corporate planning strategies, cultural adoption and Planview PRISMS IT management best practices. Product Solutions will cover project management office support, various reporting techniques, Microsoft® Project integration and instruction on collaborating with EMC Documentum eRoom.

The Power User track gets deep into product functionality with a look at new dashboards, lifecycles, virtual attributes and data-driven process automation. All tracks will feature relevant customer case studies.
