Planview Names Tim Harmon SVP Corporate Development

Market veteran to drive company strategy and accelerate Planview's footprint in the performance management market

AUSTIN, Texas. — August 15, 2006 — Planview, Inc., a leading provider of comprehensive IT portfolio management solutions, today announced it has named Tim Harmon senior vice president of Corporate Development. With 25 years of industry and management experience in IT governance, business intelligence and process management, Harmon will be responsible for driving company strategy to expand Planview's solutions footprint and accelerate the company's growth in the performance management market. He previously served as senior vice president of research at Ventana Research, a leading performance management research and advisory services firm.

While at Ventana Research, Harmon was responsible for the information technologies that enable the infrastructure, tools and applications that support performance management solutions.

He draws on a career of technology and company leadership with executive positions at Business Objects, Cognos, Equitable, Exterprise, McDonnell Douglas and Sybase. Harmon attended Iowa State University where he majored in computer science, mathematics and business administration.
