Planview Announces Tom Griffin as Vice President of Quality Engineering

Griffin brings software quality assurance experience to Planview product team

Austin, TX — January 28, 2008 — Planview, the leading independent provider of enterprise-wide portfolio management solutions, today announced the hire of Tom Griffin as vice president of quality engineering. Griffin brings more than 15 years of experience in software quality assurance to Planview and will be responsible for continuous improvement and quality initiatives to ensure the delivery of superior products and customer satisfaction.

Griffin joins Planview from RenewData Corporation, where he served as director of quality assurance and software configuration management (SCM) and established QA as an engineering discipline. Prior to RenewData, Griffin served as director of quality assurance, SCM, and IT at 360Commerce/Oracle Corporation.

Griffin possesses extensive experience in software quality assurance, including directing quality assurance engineers; managing, developing, and implementing software configuration management process; developing and managing the selection or creation of internal productivity tools for software engineering organizations; and directing software and hardware technical support teams. Griffin's experience also includes serving as Software Quality Assurance Director at Vignette Corporation as well as management-level positions at Intergraph Corporation and SCI Corporation.
