Automation Developer

Job Responsibilities

  • Develops test scripts utilizing Ruby/Watir. Develops a testing strategy from available technical documentation Implements automated tests which are modular and reusable; Follows established guidelines and interprets policies.

Automation Framework Developer

Position Overview

We are looking for a looking for automation developer. The ideal candidate will be a self starter and passionate about creating automation test infrastructures and test suites.

Job Responsibilities

  • Designs and Develops automated test framework libraries using Ruby and Watir to enable rapid script development.
  • Designs and implements supporting test tools/ utilities /addins to enable end to end automated solution. Develops supporting batch files and/or shell scripts.
  • Develops and executes end to end test scenarios and/or smoke tests in the nightly fashion and related report generations.
  • Leverages automation code to assist stress testing and capture performance statistics. As needed works as a liaison between performance and QA teams.
  • Debugs through the application logs and databases to narrow down and trouble shoot product/automation issues.
  • Performs code coverage analysis. Participates actively in the design and code review meetings. Advocates the standard software development processes and guidelines.
  • Accurately estimates project schedule tasks, Applies a subject matter knowledge to solve common and complex business issues.
  • Does not require day to day supervision and has ability to come devise tasks for him/her self once the requirements are made clear.
  • Coordinates work with other engineers as necessary, mentors junior members of the team, effectively communicates issues, solutions and/or views to the team.

The Product Development group at Planview is seeking several software developers to fill the following general position:

Position Overview

PPM (Project Portfolio Management) is Planview's flagship product. This team is responsible for all PPM development and maintenance. Initially, the successful candidate will be primarily responsible for maintenance and minor enhancements. This position requires a well-rounded developer who is able and willing to take on a varied set of assignments and drive to completion. Very strong recent graduates will be considered.

This position requires:

  • BSCS with MSCS preferred

  • Ability to move fast and learn a lot very quickly

BPM (Business Process Manager) is a highly graphical business process and workflow product. This product is written in J2SE Java and has a very significant Swing GUI. APAC Senior Solutions Consultant, Australia

Job Description

As a Senior Solutions Consultant you will be part of the APAC Sales and Services Team. You will be enabling & supporting partners in the corresponding countries in APAC, qualify an opportunity, position the value proposition, deliver product demonstrations and responding to RFI's and RFP's, as well as supporting direct opportunity to technically qualify and prove direct sales opportunities. There may also be opportunities to support implementation engagements where your time will be billable and products of your work may be required deliverables.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Support for direct sales and indirect Partner Network

  • Positioning the Planview value proposition as part of our overall business solution, aligning these benefits with key business issues of the prospect/customer
  • Performing prospect and customer presentations and demonstrations using Planview applications and tools
  • Preparing responses to RFPs, RFIs, RFQ's and other prospect inquiries
  • Participating in seminars, trade shows, and other marketing activities in order to promote awareness of Planview and our applications
  • Conducting custom demonstrations and benchmarks, using actual or derived customer information, i.e. scenario and scripted demos
  • Delivering product demonstrations in support of the PlanView solution; demonstrations vary from executive-level overviews to scripted proofs-of-concept

Qualifications

Job Description

As a Senior Account Executive you will be part of the EMEA Sales team and be based in the Planview Paris office.

Responsibilities

  • To make sales of Planview software and services to end-user customers
  • To be responsible for developing, managing and closing enterprise deals
  • To work within the sales team to achieve company targets
  • To have a proactive approach to generating sales through proven methods such as telemarketing / cold calling etc.
  • To prepare and deliver sales demonstrations as required
  • To support ad hoc marketing events, such as trade shows

Requirements

  • A background in enterprise solutions sales with at least 5 years experience working for a "named" enterprise software vendor
  • A proven track record of negotiating at CIO level with a skill set including solid sales forecasting , revenue achievement and building a satisfied, loyal client base
  • A track record of over achievement against target
  • Excellent oral and written skills in French and English
  • Self motivation and enthusiasm; capable of working alone or in a team
  • A sound appreciation of information management technologies that underpin client requirements
