Planview and SnapLogic Partner to Advance Integration Capabilities for Work and Resource Management Solutions

AUSTIN, Texas – September 26, 2016

Today, Planview® announced a strategic partnership with leading Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) provider SnapLogic. This partnership will enable integrations to be built and deployed on SnapLogic’s industry leading technology platform resulting in easier, faster data integration across cloud and on-premises applications. Going forward, Planview will standardize on the SnapLogic platform for all product lines globally.

“The ability for organizations to integrate their Work and Resource Management (WRM) solutions to other core business application has become a business-critical requirement for our customers” said Patrick Tickle, chief product officer for Planview. “Partnering with SnapLogic ensures that we are providing our customers with the best way to seamlessly connect any application in their ecosystem to any Planview product.” added Tickle.

The transition to SnapLogic will begin with integrations for new Planview customers. Planview will work with current customers to develop a migration timeline that minimizes operational impact.

“We acutely understand the dependence and investment every customer has in their integrations to Planview solutions including Innotas and Planview Enterprise, said Tim Madewell, vice president of Services for Planview. “We are committed to a thoughtful technology transition over the coming year for current customers while we ramp up new customers on SnapLogic.”

“High-quality, next-generation data integration techniques are critical to extracting value from modern applications and hybrid cloud architecture,” said Carl Lehmann, principal analyst for Enterprise Architecture, Integration and Process Management at 451 Research. “They require fast and adaptive behind-the-scenes integration technology to assure the business results expected from enterprise software and IT services.”

SnapLogic is a leader in iPaaS, a platform for building and deploying integrations within the cloud and between cloud and on-premises environments. The SnapLogic executive team has deep roots in the integration market. Before founding SnapLogic, CEO Gaurav Dhillon served as CEO of Informatica, an early provider of data management and integration solutions. SnapLogic is positioned as a leader in the 2016 Gartner Enterprise Integration Platform as a Service Magic Quadrant.

“We are excited to partner with Planview, the leader in work and resource management software, to bring our market-leading integration platform to their customer community” said Jack Kudale, senior vice president of Field Operations at SnapLogic. “With our SnapLogic platform, we’ve worked hard to modernize the approach to integration. We strongly believe we offer a better way for organizations to bring applications and data together quickly and easily so they can focus on accelerating innovation and business outcomes.“
