PRISMS Best Practices Library

Planview PRISMS provides guidance on how to achieve operational excellence across a framework of business processes through the use of an adaptive environment made up of more than 180 best practices. These include thousands of predefined and prepopulated process and procedural steps, which are documented through guides, software, and online and on-site services. You choose which parts of the Planview PRISMS Best Practices Library you want to deploy to best fit the needs of your organization; adjustments are made to the software and are reflected in the best practices, documentation, and training materials accessible within your organization. The results are a rapid return on your investment, a high level of cultural adoption, and the flexibility to easily implement additional processes.

      The Planview Innovation Lifecycle

There are seven process areas, or groupings of business functions, within a Planview performance management framework that help build mind-share and provide a level of iteration. PRISMS E-Learning allows you to take advantage of online resources to provide fast, cost-effective, and flexible instruction to your Planview users. PRISMS E-Learning contains both instructor-led and on-demand classes, allowing users to learn what they need when they need to know it. PRISMS E-Learning is available as a component of the PRISMS RPM Solution bundle or the entire library can be purchased through the Premier PRISMS E-Learning option. Modules can be customized with your processes and sample data to provide an even more effective and efficient custom E-Learning experience for your users.

Planview E-Learning is part of Planview's program-based Enablement Path Approach, which provides a platform to identify how an organization behaves, interacts with processes, and uses tools to support objectives. Users receive role-based training options for a higher level of opt-in, better data quality, and greater compliance in the implementation. E-Learning options are accessed through Planview Direct, administered through a student- and instructor-accessible dashboard, and can include CBT (computer-based training), interactive, instructor-led online training classes, on-demand pre-recorded training modules, monthly Ask the Planview Expert sessions, and an easily customizable curriculum. Courses cover topics from time tracking to financial management to reporting and analytics.
