Sun Microsystems Senior Vice President Larry Singer Joins the Planview Board of Directors

Former CIO for the State of Georgia brings experience driving business results from IT software implementations

Austin, TX — May 02, 2007 — Planview, the leading independent provider of comprehensive portfolio management solutions, today announced it has appointed former Sun Microsystems Senior Vice President and CIO to the State of Georgia, Larry Singer, to its board of directors.

Singer was most recently responsible for corporate strategy at Sun and also served as the CIO in Residence, charged with achieving customer value through innovation. Before his time at Sun, Singer served as CIO for the state of Georgia, where he transformed the state government into a national model for public sector IT governance and implemented more than $50 million in annual savings from procurement reforms.

Singer brings more than 20 years of experience selling technology solutions into government agencies with Public Interest Breakthroughs and Texas Instruments. Singer also served as a research fellow in Strategic Computing and Telecommunications with the Harvard University, John F. Kennedy School of Government.
