Planview Hosts Third in Series of ITIL Webcasts, "Integrated IT Management with ITIL," March 27, 2008

Forrester Research Principal Analyst Peter O'Neill will discuss how leveraging ITIL and program management processes enables an IT management framework

Austin, TX — March 26, 2008 — Planview®, the leading independent provider of enterprise-wide portfolio management solutions, will conduct the third in a series of webcasts on ITIL titled, "Integrated IT Management with ITIL: Building a Comprehensive IT Management Strategy," at 10:00 a.m. Central Daylight Time on Thursday, March 27, 2008. During the webcast, Germany-based Forrester Research Principal Analyst Peter O'Neill will speak on the value of integrating ITIL processes and program management best practices to realize a framework for Integrated IT Management. Joining Peter O'Neill during the webcast are Planview Service Portfolio Management Product Manager, Jeff Evans, and Planview Chief Process Architect Terry Doerscher, both of whom are ITIL version 3 certified. Evans and Doerscher will demonstrate how ITIL v3 can be incorporated into the broader IT management regimen and how portfolio management can help organizations realize key elements of ITIL v3. The webcast will also explore why and how to employ the portfolio management discipline to strategy, programs, projects and services to achieve a comprehensive approach to running IT. Peter O'Neill of Forrester Research will join the discussion covering ITIL and service management processes. He will describe the concept of a new 'front office' for IT-business relations.
