Managing Requests (Workflow)
Note that this action is available only for requests whose category is configured with "Allow request to be sent back to any gate". If the prior gate itself has been configured with the alert "Upon entering this gate, send email notification to all relevant gate approvers", then an alert will be sent to the relevant approvers (even though the request is moving backwards, it is entering a gate).

Administer Gates System Options
Work status, which represents general activity on work (such as approved, active, or hold), can be represented graphically by associating a color to each work status value. For each status value you want to assign a different color to, click the appropriate down arrow and select the color you want to represent that value. Gray is the default color for additional status values added to the Work Status (Wbs20) alternate structure.
