Planview Presents Project Management with Kanban 2.0 Webinar

Project collaboration expert Jason Morio to explain how Kanban can enhance team efficiency

AUSTIN, Texas – February 22, 2016

Kanban boards provide a visual depiction of workflows, in which electronic Post-it® style notes in different columns represent tasks. As work progresses, project members can simply drag and drop cards between the columns with the end goal of completion. During a one-hour webinar on Thursday, Feb. 25, Jason Morio, Projectplace segment manager for Planview®, will explain how to benchmark and improve team performance using Kanban boards.

Webinar Title

Project Management with Kanban 2.0

Topic

In this webcast, Morio, will showcase how Kanban goes beyond setting goals and managing tasks. Participants will learn about:

  • The world of Kanban boards, cards and work in progress (WIP) limits
  • “Execution Stew” or how to enjoy using Kanban while keeping more traditional stakeholders informed
  • “Kanban in the Wild” or how a marketing organization in a software company uses the concept to be more agile

Speaker

Jason Morio, Projectplace Segment Manager for Planview Inc.: In the span of his 18-year career in the technology space, Morio’s experience has run the gamut from roles in Fortune 1,000 companies all the way to the “four dudes, a dog and a garage” level of startups. He now works with several multi-faceted virtual teams that span between Austin, Stockholm and Bangalore in his current role at Planview, where he helps companies, large and small, to overcome the challenges they face with the ever-changing nature of collaborative projects.
