Innotas Extends Cloud Portfolio Management Solution for Improved Resource Management and Productivity for PMOs, Project Managers and Team Members

Enhances solution with predictive resource planning, centralized staffing and new mobile capabilities

San Francisco, 09/02/2015 — Innotas today launched a new version of its cloud portfolio management solution with new resource management capabilities – enabling improved resource planning and productivity for PMOs, product manager and team members.  The release upgrades the core predictive analytics engine, features new capabilities for supporting centralized staffing models, and new mobile capabilities for increased efficiency for on-the-go users.  Innotas is a leading provider of cloud solutions that offer a seamless way to manage project portfolios, resources and applications across the enterprise.

With this new release, Innotas’ Project Portfolio Management (PPM) software provides more resource-centric tools for predictive planning, execution, tracking, and measuring project portfolios – improving decision-making for each role and stakeholder within the organization. This results in ensuring resources are highly optimized and focused on the highest value work, ultimately increasing project success and return on investment (ROI).

New Innotas PPM capabilities unveiled today, include:

Portfolio Planning – Enhancements to patent-pending Predictive Portfolio Analysis™ (PPA) strengthens decision making power with new visualizations for side-by-side comparisons of optimized portfolio scenarios, resource heatmaps, and timelines, resulting in higher confidence for meeting commitments made to stakeholders.

Resource Planning and Forecasting – With improved intelligence in the resource scheduling algorithm, PPA now includes budget reallocation to increase accuracy of recommendations.

New Mobile Solution – Boosts productivity and the user experience by simplifying time sheet entry, approvals, and task management with an intuitive interface.  The new solution reduces the demands on the user for entering data by intelligently surfacing assignments and utilizing algorithms to show relevant user-centric information.  PMOs and managers will benefit from increased data accuracy of project actuals and save time on approvals.

Centralized Staffing – Streamlines communication and collaboration between project managers and resource managers, by improving the process for staffing projects and work.  This new capability allows project managers to request resources to fulfill role demand on their projects, and gives resource managers a means to quickly fulfill those requests – eliminating the need for staffing negotiation over email and phone calls, which gets lost and is difficult to manage and govern.

“Sixty percent of organizations do not have enough resources to meet incoming project demands,” said Cliff McBride, Senior Vice President of Product Development for Innotas.  “We are addressing challenges across the entire development cycle – from PRD’s through final delivery with ROI.  Innotas has always dedicated our development efforts to provide the best enterprise resource management solution ensuring that resources are profoundly optimized and working on the right projects at the right time.”

With this new release, organizations will have higher confidence that they have adequate resources and skillsets to meet the demands of their business and strategy, by optimizing the allocation of resources in the planning stage and increasing their efficiency during project execution and delivery. More importantly, they will increase forecasting accuracy of headcount-hiring plans by identifying and predicting resource gaps ahead of roadmap execution.
