We are monitoring the 2019 Novel Coronavirus (COVID-19) situation and have issued several guidelines to help ensure we minimize the risk of infection to our employees, customers and partners. We have a heightened awareness of our responsibility to our employees, customers and partners during this important time and are following the guidance and recommendations from globally recognized authorities such as the CDC and WHO (links below) on travel, working remotely, and general hygiene recommendations. More specifics below:
Working from Home/Remote
Planview’s top priorities are to ensure the health, safety and security of our team members and to maintain our business operations and commitments to our customers, partners and prospects.
Our response to COVID-19 includes a limited, voluntary office opening for our Austin office and Stockholm office as of May 11, 2020. We are following all local, state and federal guidelines and rules to ensure the health and safety of our team members. In fact, the vast majority of our employees have chosen to continue to work from home. At Planview we leverage video conferencing and our own Work Management products to facilitate distributed team collaboration.
At Planview, we are critical partners to our customers and prospects, so it is vital that we ensure the continuity of our business. We stopped all employee travel as of March, 2020. As with our office closures we are actively monitoring the COVID-19 situation and will reassess this policy as needed.
Planview is a global business and has had an established Business Continuity Plan in place for years to coordinate recovery functions that are critical to managing and supporting the business recovery and our ability to do our jobs in the event of a facilities (office building) disruption or disaster. The Planview Business Continuity Plan is regularly reviewed and updated and tested by a qualified third-party annually. The last test was conducted in late December of 2020. The December 2020 test resulted in no critical findings.
Planview’s business operations are cloud based, and Planview employees are empowered to work remotely. As of January 27, 2021, Planview service levels have not been impacted by COVID-19. In the event Planview is significantly impacted by COVID-19 such that Planview SaaS services are impacted, Planview will promptly notify affected customers.
We are currently working with our data processing partners to ensure they are taking the appropriate precautions and will update this notice as additional information becomes available.
Planview is dedicated to providing employees with up to date, relevant information and resources to help them and their families stay safe and healthy.
Planview’s medical plans will cover the COVID-19 testing costs at 100%, meaning that employees and their family members enrolled in Planview’s medical plan will not be responsible for a copay or deductible expense for the tests.
