    The types of portfolios a user can create depend on the permissions an administrator assigns to that user and which functionality (strategic management, project and resource management, and outcome portfolio management) the user can access. When creating a portfolio, users define a selection of data for a portfolio by selecting a subset of structures to include in the portfolio.

  • Adding a Portfolio to a Project

    The Portfolios section of a project lists all the portfolios to which the project is linked. For example, the portfolio category must be configured to show the Associations tab, and the project category must include the Portfolios section. b) Specify the percentage (%) of budgets and actuals that will be rolled up from the project to the portfolio. Note that if you create a project from a template and include portfolio associations, they are copied at 100% to include be default.

  • Portfolio Project Status

    You can also simply set the Topic to Project if you want to show projects without regard to portfolio, or, just show this information for a single project. When starting with the Portfolio topic you will need to select the field path Portfolio > Projects: Linked to Portfolio to get to the project available fields. If you want to allow the user to change to a different Scope and/or Filter before running the report or when viewing the report, select the relevant checkboxes for Allow changing.

  • Connect a Project Workspace to a Portfolio

    Project workspaces are normally connected to a portfolio by the portfolio owner in the Portfolios tool. To add a workspace to a portfolio: Navigate to a workspace you are a member of. In the Portfolios section, click the Add to a portfolio button. When the project workspace is connected to at least one portfolio with automatic reminders turned on, the workspace manager will get a reminder to keep the project status updated
