Setting Lifecycles When Child Lifecycles Are Enabled
The use of lifecycles below primary work begins when the Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) has been copied to the current project if the primary work parent has been marked as "Child Lifecycles Enabled." If child lifecycles are enabled, and the child lifecycle that should be started is at primary planning level (PPL) +2, then the direct parent at PPL+1 must have child lifecycles enabled.

About the Lifecycle Action Menu
The following table describes the options of the menu that is displayed to the right of a lifecycle diagram. Lets you add members to a lifecycle team and change which user is assigned to a specific lifecycle role. Update a lifecycle model by clicking update, clicking OK, clicking the appropriate lifecycle model, and then clicking OK. Review a specific lifecycle segment of the lifecycle process by clicking the segment’s relevant link.
