Gregory S. Gilmore, Chief Executive Officer
Gregory S. Gilmore is the chief executive officer of Planview, and has been the driving force behind its market leadership for the past 19 years. Responsible for the operating strategies and integration of strategic acquisitions designed to expand the company’s global presence, bringing innovative products to market, and enhancing customer service, Greg has shepherded the company through its many phases of growth.
Greg is committed to fostering a culture of excellence coupled with a passion for customer success. The three Value Streams he created guide cross-organizational integration across all points of the customer lifecycle. Greg established the Value-Based Team Selling approach, enabling the Planview global sales organization to provide the most effective solutions to customer challenges. He also catalyzed the formation of a customer-centric organization for world-class support and service; and he advocated the development of the company’s unique Planview PRISMS and Platinum Service offerings.
Greg has more than 30 years of experience in sales, consulting, and operations management at organizations including Ernst & Young, Texas Instruments, James Martin & Co, and ABT. He is active in business and charity communities; speaks and presents on business leadership; sits on the board of directors at Planview, is the Chairman of the Board at Regent School of Austin, and is a former board member of the HillView Christian Ministries and Foundation for the Homeless. Greg received his BS in Business Analysis from Texas A&M University.
Vic Chynoweth, Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer
Vic Chynoweth serves as EVP and chief financial officer with responsibility for global leadership of G&A functions and corporate development activities including integration and scaling. Vic brings over 15 years of experience in technology leading strategic and operational scaling initiatives to support and drive organic and inorganic growth.
Prior to joining Planview, Vic served as vice president of finance and accounting at Vertafore Inc. where he led pricing, sales operations, and enterprise applications in addition to traditional finance and accounting functions. Previously, he served as vice president and treasurer for Cray Inc. and in leadership roles at Topaz Bridge (a software startup in the SharePoint/SAP space) and Lehman Brothers. He has a BA in Biology from the University of Colorado and an MBA from the University of Washington.
Patrick A. Tickle, Chief Product Officer
Patrick Tickle is responsible for the company’s Products organization and leads the Planview team that continues to deliver the most innovative portfolio management solutions to the marketplace. Patrick brings over 20 years of experience in product management, product development, and marketing across a wide range of technology solutions.
Prior to joining Planview, Patrick served as Vice President of Marketing and Product Management of ITM Software where he executed category development and product definition. He has also held a variety of product management and marketing positions at Terraspring, Inc. (an enterprise software company acquired by Sun Microsystems), MIPS, and Silicon Graphics. He has a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of North Carolina.
Thom Everett, Executive Vice President Global Sales Operations
Thom Everett serves as Executive Vice President of Global Sales Operations, and is responsible for leading the sales organization across all geographies and markets that Planview serves. His success in institutionalizing Planview’s Value-Based Team Selling process, coupled with his proven ability to drive customer achievement, makes Thom an exceptional leader for the Global sales force.
With a 20-year track record leading high-growth sales organizations, Thom joined Planview as Director of Western Region Sales in 2005 from Compuware, where he served as a Vice President of Sales and was credited for leading his teams to the highest levels of achievement. He received his BA in Marketing from Northern Illinois University.
Bryan Urioste, Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing
Bryan Urioste is Executive Vice President, Worldwide Marketing. In this role, he is responsible for global marketing operations across the Planview product portfolio, including corporate communications, demand generation and digital. Bryan has spent the last 15 years working with transformative software and technology companies, helping them identify markets, define product requirements and build customer acquisition strategies for long-term growth.
Before joining Planview, Bryan served as vice president of marketing at SolarWinds Inc., leading worldwide demand generation and customer marketing. Previously, he served in leadership positions across the marketing organizations of Rackspace and Dell. Bryan has a BS in Business Administration from Bucknell University and an MBA from Duke University.
Jeff Durbin, General Manager of Global Operations
As the General Manager of Global Operations, Jeff Durbin is responsible for sales, services, and support for all regions outside of North America. He brings 19 years of experience holding positions in Sales, Consulting, Development, and Product Management. In 2008, Jeff took the responsibility for the EMEA and APAC operations and immediately restructured the group into service centers more tightly aligned to the corporate structure. This new organizational structure, along with a strong focus on partner development, put the business in a position to achieve and maintain double-digit profit.
In 2007, Jeff managed all aspects of the integration project of the profitable Business Engine acquisition, including employees, customers, product roadmap, facilities, and financials.
Additionally, Jeff is responsible for Global Delivery and Enablement services, which is continually driving innovations around Planview’s Rapid Portfolio Management delivery approach and organizational adoption to increase customer’s time to value. Key value-added programs include the PlanviewPRISMS website, E-Learning, customer enablement paths, best practices, and process maps. He holds a BA in Business Administration from Southwestern University.
Scott Hardey, Executive Vice President of Customer Service
Scott Hardey is Executive Vice President of Customer Service at Planview, an award-winning team providing implementation, support, consulting services, and education to Planview customers and partners. Under his leadership, Planview has gained a reputation as one of the most customer-focused and responsive software companies in the industry.
Scott has 20 years of sales and customer service experience, including 12 years with Planview where he has increased North American revenue through Planview’s Value-Based Team Selling model, building customer relationships and information technology capabilities that have become a significant competitive differentiator. Prior to Planview, he held management positions at Fritz Companies and Texas Instruments. Scott earned a BS in Computer Science from Tulane University and an MS in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Rikard Olsson, Chief Financial Officer, Projectplace
Rikard is responsible for the financial management for Projectplace Group since 2000. Prior to joining Projectplace Rikard was Controller, Marketing Manager and Financial Manager at Atlas Copco.
Rikard has 17 years experience in financial management and business development in cloud computing and manufacturing.
Steve Alexander, Executive Vice President of Planview Consulting
Leading the innovative Planview implementation approach to driving customer success, Steve Alexander is responsible for defining and managing the strategic direction of the company’s global consulting services. Based on his experience in hundreds of implementations, he has defined an approach framework that focuses on results that derive from technology deployment, adoption, and end-user enablement of Planview solutions by ensuring the integration of tools, processes, and best practices. At Planview, he has continued his 18-year leadership track record, ensuring value is delivered from implementations while keeping customer costs to a minimum.
His prior experience included leading the global consulting team at Artemis International for eight years after building his own consulting company focused on IT re-engineering and project management. Steve served in the United States Marine Corps for eight years, serving on planning staff roles including the Organization of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Steve received a BS in Information Systems Management and Finance and completed graduate level work toward an MBA from the University of Maryland.
Louise K. Allen, Senior Vice President of Product Management and Solutions Marketing
With more than 20 years of experience in all facets of bringing technology products to market, Louise leads the product management and solutions marketing teams for Planview, responsible for product strategy, positioning and roadmap for all three of Planview’s product lines.
Louise joined Planview from Quickarrow, where, as Vice President of Product Strategy, her efforts drove the company from self-funded startup to consistently profitable. Prior to this, she held leadership positions with companies including Tivoli Systems, an IBM company, and NetQoS. Louise received her BS in Business Administration from Trinity University, and her MBA from The University of Texas at Austin.
Rob Reesor, Vice President of Product Development
Rob Reesor is Vice President of Product Development at Planview, where he is responsible for managing and growing the development team while delivering on the company’s product roadmap. He brings more than 25 years of experience in all phases of the product lifecycle, including programming, product management, quality assurance, and project management.
Rob joined Planview from Austin Logistics, where he served as Vice President of Engineering, overseeing software development, quality assurance, documentation, IT, and customer support. Prior to Austin Logistics, Rob served as Director of Product Development at Hire.com and held several management-level engineering positions with TIBCO, IntelliCorp, and Virtual Vineyards. Rob holds both a BS and MS degree in Computer Science from the University of Oregon.
Linda Roach, Vice President of Marketing
Linda brings 17 years of experience in product management, product marketing, and corporate marketing to her role as Vice President of Marketing for Planview. Upon joining the company in 2004, Linda led the launch of Planview Enterprise, repositioning the company from a single product to a highly successful multiple product line.
Prior to joining Planview, Linda held management positions at Pervasive Software, VTEL Corporation, and Kodak where she led go-to-market initiatives covering new products, product line expansion, and opening new market segments. Linda holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She has participated in Executive Education programs at the University of Michigan, Wharton School, and University of Texas at Austin.
Jerry Sanchez, Chief Information Officer
Jerry Sanchez leads the Cloud and SaaS operations at Planview. He brings more than 24 years of experience in IT at software companies. At Planview, in 2008, he launched a virtualization initiative that fueled the company’s SaaS transition which now accounts for 90% of all new customers.
Prior to Planview, Jerry was at CyberTrader, an early Internet based equity trading firm that was acquired by Charles Schwab, where he became a Director leading the Active Trader division’s infrastructure, security, and operations.
Early in his career he held various IT positions at software companies including Electronic Arts where he was part of the Ultima Online team that produced the first graphical MMOG.
He is an industry-acknowledged expert in Cloud computing, SaaS, datacenter operations, and virtualization.
Eric S. Hurley, Vice President of Legal Affairs
Eric provides counsel and guidance for Planview, managing legal affairs and transactions for the company globally. Responsible for issues of corporate security, governance, intellectual property, and litigation, Eric works closely with the executive management team in strategic planning and tactical implementation for the company.
Eric has over 25 years of experience implementing creative, value-oriented contract negotiation and management, business process, and intellectual property strategies in the software, hardware, and computer services industries. Most recently, he was Vice President of Legal Affairs at Motion Computing, where he managed global legal affairs and all transactional, intellectual property, compliance, regulatory, and corporate governance affairs of the company. Previously, he held leadership positions with companies including Pavilion Technologies, CSC Financial Services Group, and Hogan Systems. Eric received his BBA in Marketing and his Business Law certificate from Southern Methodist University, and is a co-inventor on two issued United States patents.
